Lucy had 7 puppies today. I'm not sure yet what they are because Blanka started a fight with Lucy stomping on and rolling the puppies in the dirt. When they moved their fight to the other side of the barn I scooped the pups up in my arms and moved them out of the barn. Hubby and son in law came running because I was screming at the dogs. Hubby took Blanka out of the fence into the yard. Lucy was very up set and just wonted her puppies back so I lefted her alone with them. Blanka is in a pen to herself! Time out!

Lost Dog

This is Bear. I was sad this morning when I looked out my window, like I have done for the past three weeks. This morning he wasnt there. A neighbor came by at the end of May. She had found a Great Pyrenees dog and just knew it was mine. She was sad that she hadn't found its owner and asked that I take the dog with me because her neighbor wonted to call the pound. I looked at this large 100 lb dog

and wondered how in the world would I get him in my van? One tug at his collar and he climb right in. He and I drove around to a few houses that I knew had Pyrenees dogs with no luck. I post adds on the Internet, local radio, and posters at the feed store. The only calls I got was from a few people wonted to adopt him. He was a very sweet dog. I thought of keeping him but Jake and he didn't get along. He got out one day and they got into a fight. I was worried about both of them getting hurt. He also made the 5th dog here and I just didn't need any more. I decided it was best for him and more fair to have a home with less dogs and more time. I call the lady that wonted to adopt him and she picked him up yesterday afternoon. She was very excited and already owned a female Pyrenees. I hope he is very happy there, but I find that I do miss him.

Puppies are growing! They will soon be leaving us. I shall miss the balls of fur!

Two of the kids keeping warm in the old dog house we found. Old dog houses are graet for the kids to hide in I have two of them. They also have 3 barrels truned on their side to sleep in this keeps them out of the wind.

I have 12 kids now. There is around 12 nannies still left to give birth.

The puppies have grown the are twice the size they where, fat as butter balls! They are very healthy. I will have to try and get a picture of them this weekend.

We are now up to 8 kids! Thursday after all the rain and flooding , I had 5 kids born. The little black one is the only billy so far.

Interesting Tree at The Circle B.

We worked on fences all day Sunday. The bull here was walking though them. He chased hubby around the neighbor's garage. He got sent to the sale barn ,to scared he would hurt someone. We moved all the cows at Mr Lea's place to (Bohanon's) Circle B next door. They where back before we where LOL. Oh Well big boy is gone so maybe they will stay in.

Today was going to be my first day back at work but due to bad weather school was closed. Today is the oldest child first day back at collage, She is going at night so I have to start staying with FIL right after work 4 days a week. I have had a month break, so maybe it will be better. He was very ugly to me and hurt my feelings so I haven't been around him much.

I have struggled with somethings and I just I have to learn to let some of it go. Everything changes whether its for the good or the bad I guess we have to accept it and go on.

Lucy had 6 puppies December 27. There are 3 girls and 3 boys.

They are ugly right now, but fat and healthy.

My pictures aren't real good because the where taken with my phone and it is dark in the back part of this barn.

Marshmallow the middle child's white kitten was caught trying to steal the dogs treat. He got his own treat basket for Christmas!

I have a new baby. Its not the first of the season. But she is the first to live. I had two that didn't make it, and a few that miscarried. I'm not sure what is causeing them to miscarrie.

She is solid white and her ears stick straight up.

Lucy will be having puppies again soon. She is starting to make milk.

I gave pearl away at Thanksgiving. I couldn't keep her up and the neighbors where complaining about her being in their garbage. She was dumb too she would stand in the middle of the road and make cars go around her. I didn't know what else to do with her but find her a new home.

This Nanny was licking the protein tub. When she looked up at me I thought it looked like someone put lip stick on her. LOL

I haven't felt like writing in this journal. I have times that I fight depression.

Hubby spent 2 days last week in the hospital. The doctor sent him by ambulance to the e.r thought he was having a heart attack. Thank goodness it wasn't. Doctor said , Acid reflux, irritated esophagus. They gave him medication for it, if this doesn't help they will do an upper GI.

He still hasn't felt well this week. He slept all day Sunday and that's not like him. I think it was brought on by stress.

This is what 5 loads of dirt look like,

I'm not sure if more is coming or not.

When we moved here 8 years ago it was $250 a load.

So we are very happy to get dirt.

Hubby is going to fix the yard smooth it out and

cover rocks to grow grass.

Who's going to cut this grass we are going to grow?

His answer let the goats do it for you.

So we will have green grass, junk cars, old wood, gas cans, and goats in the yard.

Goats as lawn mowers means no flowers, oh well who has time anyway. This is October the 15,2008.

We will see how long the dirt is blocking the front door

before it is spread out in the yard.
